Posted by Zaida on December 10, 1998 at 22:41:50:Today I received another dozen Christmas Greetings in the mail.... what a wonderful season.
I want to share with you a wonderful way to share those cards with others rather than stuffing them into a festive basket or in that kitchen drawer.
Take a craft ribbon at least 2" wide and up to 5 feet long. At the top of the ribbon attach a festive bow. Those are the measurements I used and hang two of them on each side of my livingroom door. Pin your christmas cards to the length of the ribbon.

After Christmas, we use the fronts of the cards as post cards for thank you notes. Better than throwing them out!

I cut the pictures out of the cards after christmas and use them for the name tags the following year I store them in a box in with my christmas decorations.

I hang mine on one of my "LARGE" tropical plants. I just hole punch them and tie them on with ribbon.

Here's what we do:
We find those wonderful "bare" spots in the Christmas tree and stand the cards in the tree.......its a great way to fill in a tree.....and also shares all our greetings with everyone who stops in!
We also hang them over garland on the tree.
This year we covered the back door with cards........for some reason we accumulated a whole bunch from all over the place (gee that secret santa thing went over really well.......)
