What an encouragement you have been to me! I just found this board today. I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter and a 3 month old son. I have been nearly beside myself with potty training my daughter. She knows exactly what she needs to do, she has just decided that she likes diapers better. We hear, "I no like potty!" constantly. One by one nearly all of her friends in her age group are mastering the potty. I am well over 6 feet tall so my daughter is quite tall and looks much older. I can't tell you all the strange looks I get in the public bathrooms as I chang her long lanky body hanging over the changing tables. I have decided if I get one more look that says, "Shouldn't she be out of diapers by now?" I may haul off and throw the diaper at them.
Her 3rd birthday will be here in 5 months and I was reaching the panic point. I gave up the battle and put her back in diapers and am waiting for her to change her opinion of, " I no like potty!"
