I bought my last car seat a while back and my son just recently out grew it. It was a Cosco High Back Booster Seat. Weight range 20-80 lbs. The price was right too at about $40 at Walmart. It has a harness for while they are still small but when your child gets bigger you use the seat belt in your car. I really liked it and it my son liked it because it made him tall enough to see out the window. Hope this helps.
