When I was in 1st grade...we made little candle holders from baby food jars for our parent's Chritmas presents...my mom still has them. :)
I cant remember exactly the "paper", we used to wrap them in..it was thin, I think, maybe, tissue paper...we chose which colors we liked and then wrapped the paper around the jar so it was tight and used clear glue to hold it on the jar...then before the glue dried, we sprinkled glitter all over it. The effect was a great candle holder that would illuminate the color of the paper around the jar when lit. :)
