I can dig every word you are saying. That is a pet peeve of mine. I have nieces and nephews that whine quite a bit and it really pinches my skin. I do have a 7 year old son and although my son doesn't whine on a regular basis, he does shrink his voice to the abyss of the unhearing. I continue doing what I am doing until that big voice comes out from below and he speaks up. Ignoring is an option I take very seriously (smile).
