Wow is there a lot of drama going on about this question or what. Linda, I too have a daughter that is actually approaching the age of 3 come December. Not that she has ever had a yeast infection but for some reason it has always been on my mind that I do not want her to ever experience that. When I was pregnant with her I did read some articles that said that little girls too can get a yeast infection and such so it definitely isn't something surprising. Does your daughter like cranberry juice (not cocktail - too sugary)? Perhaps if you gave her some cranberry juice (has to be 100% pure juice) on the regular basis it can help because cranberries has some kind of acid in it that kills the yeast infection bacteria. It's worth a try. And by the by, did your doctor tell you some of the foods to stay away from that can also trigger on yeast infections - do make sure she is drinking a lot of water and/or cranberry juice to flush her system out. Good luck on that one...
