My oldest is 13, her brother is 11, both kids were born in Feb. 2 weeks apart. They get along farily well most of the time. Other than the your a boy I am a girl aspect. I think it is a good age diffrence for them. My youngest is 7, she has nohting in common with the older two and often plays by herself as they are not intrested in playing school or dolls. To much age gap there.
However I think each child is diffrent and how htey react with and to a sibling is not so much the age gap as the child themselves. All 3 of my children will watch t.v. together and read to each other. but they do not like the same games.
