my 2 1/2 year old daughter bites herself on her hands
and arms when she gets angry and frustrated.
I think she does this in part because she knows she
is not allowed to bite other people(i.e. mom, dad, other kids)so she bites herself.
Things that will provoke this: being told "no" she can't do something.(i.e. watch a video or T.V.),
being put in time out(which by the way doesn't work for her, being denied something such as candy when she is expected to eat dinner first.
advice please.
