Here is a simple recipe that everyone has enjoyed who has tried it!
CHEESY CHICKEN CASSEROLE
10 boneless chicken breast
2 cans Cream of Chicken Soup or
Cream of Mushroom Soup
White wine or water (I use White Zinfandel)
10 slices or 1-2 cup pkg. of any shredded white
cheese - mozzarella, swiss, or monterey jack
1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm Stuffing-not the
cubes (I use the herb-seasoned type)
1 stick of butter or margarine - melted
Directions
Skin chicken under warm water (you can use breasts with bone and rib, just cut them out). Pat dry. Lay chicken in greased baking dish, flat, side by side. Place piece of cheese over each chicken.
Mix 1/2 soup can of wine or water with 2 cans soup (you want a thick consistency). Pour over chicken and cheese. Pour layer of crumb dressing over next (put enough so you can't see the chicken). Pour margarine over top for even and light coverage. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
