ANGEL FOOD CANDY

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. syrup (light or dark)
2 tsp. baking soda

Use a large kettle; add brown sugar and syrup, boil to
crack stage and add baking soda. Syrup will foam up. Spread
on greased sheet (1-inch deep). When cool, break in pieces and
dip in melted chocolate. Don't jar candy when cooling or it
will fall.

ANGEL FOOD CANDY

1 c. sugar
1 c. dark Karo syrup
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. baking soda

Boil sugar, syrup and vinegar to 290 degrees. Remove from heat
and bring over to buttered pan. Add 1 teaspoon of sifted
baking soda. Pour quickly in pan. Let cool. Break in pieces
and dip in chocolate.

ANGEL FOOD CANDY CRUNCH

6 to 8 Heath candy bars
(frozen)
1 angel food cake
1 large container Cool Whip

Freeze candy bars solid. Unwrap and place in plastic
bag. Break into small pieces by pounding through plastic bag
with hammer. Cut cake into bite size pieces and set aside.
Mix candy into Cool Whip. Fold candy mixture into cake and
place in oblong pan. Cover with Saran Wrap and refrigerate
overnight.

ANGEL FOOD CANDY

1 c. dark Karo syrup
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. baking soda
chocolate almond bark squares

In a 3 quart saucepan mix syrup, sugar and vinegar.
Cook stirring constantly until mixture reaches 300 degrees. Remove
from heat; add baking soda. Pour into buttered cake pan.
Remove when hardened. Break into pieces and dip in melted
chocolate almond bark.
