: If anyone has the recipe for Dutch Apple Squares from the Pampered Chef, could you please give it to me. I know all the ingredients, but have misplaced the recipe. Thank you.
Hi, I'm a consultant for Pampered Chef and I happen to have the recipe for you!
Preheat oven to 350. Lightly spray Stoneware Bar Pan with spritzer. Reserve 1/2 c. of dry cake mix in 1 Qt. Batter Bowl for topping. For base, in 2 Qt. Batter Bowl, cut butter into remaining cake mix using pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add egg and mix until well blended using mix n' scraper.(Dough will seem dry but will moisten with mixing) Use lightly floured Dough and Pizza Roller, roll dough evenly over bottom of pan. Wipe batter bowl clean and use for filling; whisk together cream cheese , sugar and egg in batter bowl until smooth. Zest lemon with lemon zester/scorer; add to cream cheese mixture and mix well. Spread filling evenly over base. Peel, core and slice apples using apple peeler/corer/slicer; cut apples lengthwise in half. Arrange apple slices, slightly overlaping, over filling. For struesel topping, coarsely grate pecans using deluxe cheese grater. Add pecans, flour, brown sugarand butter to reserved cake mix in 1 Qt. batter bowl; mix unitl crumbly. Sprinkle evely over apples. Bake 25-30 minutes or until apples are tender and edges are golden brown. Cool slightly. Cut into squares. Serve warm using large serving spatula.
I hope this helps you and I am sorry for any missing letters - my wrists are bad from typing. If you have any questions or you need another recipe email - if I dont have it I can try and find it for you!
