SKILLET LASAGNE
1 lb. lean ground beef 2 Tbsp. butter 1 pkg. spaghetti sauce mix 1 lb. cottage cheese (small curd) 4 medium noodles, uncooked 1 Tbsp. basil 1 tsp. oregano 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes 1 tsp. salt 1 can tomatoes 1 c. water 1 pkg. (8 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
Brown meat in butter over low heat. Sprinkle 1/2 of the spaghetti sauce mix over the meat. Spread cottage cheese over meat. Then spread noodles over the cottage cheese layer. Sprinkle the remaining spaghetti sauce mix and spices over all. Add tomatoes and water.
Be sure the noodles are moistened. Cover and bring to a boil while set on high heat. Reduce heat and simmer 30 to 35 minutes. Sprinkle cheese over top; cover and cook until cheese is melted, about 10 minutes.
