Pickled Green Beans

Pickled Green Beans
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
No tough beans, 3 to 6 inches long works best
Cap and wash beans
place in jars by length, cut off any tops
that stick out of the jar
pints for the short ones
quarts for the long ones, use
wooden spoon to help place in jars
Add 1 small jalapeno or 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Mix up 1 package of Mrs Wages Kosher Dill Mix as pkg says
and let cool, pour over the beans in the jars,
seal and place on a cookie sheet and place in
a 350 degrees oven to bake:
Pints bake for 10 mins
Quarts bake 15 mins
Turn off oven and let set in the oven till cool.
You can eat in 2 days, but they are best eaten
in 2 weeks or longer..
** Some beans will scrivel. They will fill out again
in a week or too..........Great with everything
*** I have canned whole jalapeno peppers with the Mrs
Wages Dill mix and they are great.
