PEANUT BUTTER CORN FLAKES

1 2/3 c. corn syrup
1 2/3 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. peanut butter
1 2/3 Tbsp. vanilla
10 c. corn flakes

Place corn syrup and sugar in large pan. Bring to boil
until dissolved. Blend in peanut butter. Stir in vanilla,
then corn flakes. Spoon on wax paper.

CORN FLAKE COOKIES

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 c. sugar
1 c. white Karo syrup
1 c. peanut butter
1 Tbsp. margarine
corn flakes

Add sugar and syrup together in a saucepan. Bring to a
boil and remove from heat. Add peanut butter and margarine.
Mix thoroughly. Stir in corn flakes until the consistency is
such that you can drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Corn
flakes should be completely coated.

PEANUT BUTTER CHEWS
(Candy)

1 c. sugar
1 c. lite corn syrup (white
Karo)
1 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
5 c. corn flakes, crushed

Bring sugar and syrup to boil, then take off heat. Add
peanut butter and beat well. Then add vanilla and crushed corn
flakes.
You may use 1 cup coconut, but if you do, only use 4
cups corn flakes.

PEANUT BUTTER CLUSTER CANDY

1 c. white Karo syrup
1 c. sugar
1 c. peanut butter
5 c. corn flakes (do not
crush)

Pour corn flakes into a large bowl. Bring sugar and
syrup to a boil. Remove from heat, add peanut butter, mix
well. Pour over corn flakes. Drop with a spoon on wax paper.

CORN FLAKE-CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 sticks margarine
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. (packed) brown sugar
1/4 c. hot water
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet
chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. corn flakes

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. In a large
bowl, beat both sugars and margarine with electric mixer until
light and fluffy. Beat in water, egg and vanilla, blending
well. Gradually add flour mixture until well blended. Gently
stir in chocolate chips and corn flakes, trying not to crush
corn flakes. Drop mixture by heaping teaspoons, 1-inch apart,
on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 5 minutes or until
set and golden brown. Cool on cookie sheet 3 to 5 minutes,
before removing to wire rack to cool completely.

JEFF'S HOLLY CLUSTERS

1 stick butter or margarine
30 large marshmallows
1/4 tsp. green food coloring
4 1/2 c. corn flakes
1/3 c. red cinnamon candies

Spread a piece of wax paper on a tray. Measure corn
flakes and set aside. Melt butter in saucepan over low heat.
Add marshmallows to melted butter and stir until marshmallows
are melted. Take off the heat. Add food coloring and stir
until mixture is evenly colored. Pour in corn flakes and stir
until coated. Pick up portions of mixture with tablespoon and
drop on wax paper. Press several cinnamon candies on each
cluster. Let cluster dry about 1 hour. Yields 36 clusters.
