Green Tomato Pickles
4 lbs.raw green tomatoes-quartered
1 cup chopped onion quartered
3/4 cup raw jalapeno pepper, chpd in halves
sweet peppers-4 cut in quarters per jar
2 cups sugar
3 Tbls salt
2 cups vinegar
1 tsp celery seed
Put tomatoes, onions and seeded deveined
peppers in a large pan. Mix remaining
ingredients together and pour over tomatoes,
quartered if small or to desired size. Bring
to boil. Cook 10 minutes. Remove from heat immediatly and put in sterile jars and seal. Water bath 15 minutes.
Delicous, serve with fish, beef, peas, beans, as a relish try..
