Years ago a friends mother made a Cherry Pudding from scratch with these ingred. I have tried and not been able to duplicate it myself.
I don't really have exact measurements or instructions--that is what I need.
The ingred were:
Canned tart cherries
Lots of Butter
Gran. Sugar
Bread-torn into pieces
She put this all in a skillet and "fried" it.
It was very rich and very good.
Can someone help me with a real recipe for this? She probably made this in the 50's.
