Sounds like she's doing well, actually, especially after reading about the situations in other families, on this board. Thumbsucking is a great habit. It calms you down, puts you to sleep, helps you focus your attention, deal with stress, etc., etc. I'd bet if everyone would try it until they got the habit, the world would be a much better place (said only halfway with tongue in cheek, or thumb in mouth for that matter). I say it sounds more like you have the problem, not she.
