| MATERIALS: | White Tissues, Rubber Bands, Marker | |
| INSTRUCTIONS: | Wad up a tissue into a round ball, lay in the center of another unfolded tissue. Wrap second tissue around ball tightly, secure with rubber band. Use the marker to add dots for eyes. | |
| PIPE CLEANER SPIDERS | ||
| MATERIALS: | Black pom pom, 5 Black Pipe Cleaners, Red Paper(optional), Glue (optional) | |
| INSTRUCTIONS: | Hold 4 pipe cleaners together in a bunch. Tightly twist 1/2 of one pipe cleaner around the middle of the 4 pipe cleaners to join them together. Spread pipe cleaners apart slightly and bend ends down to create "legs". Glue pom pom to center of pipe cleaners for body. If desired, use a paper punch to punch out 2 eyes from red paper and glue to body. | |
| PAPER BAG PUMPKINS | ||
| MATERIALS: |
FOR PUMPKINS Brown paper lunch bags, Orange and green tempera paint, paintbrush, Rubber Band, Old newspaper
FOR DECORATING black construction paper, glue, black tempera paint, markers |

| INSTRUCTIONS: | Stuff paper bag with crumpled up newspaper. Close bag and seal with rubber band to form a "stem" at the top. Paint bottom orange and top green. Allow to dry thoroughly. Use Paint, markers, or cut out shapes to decorate. | |
| HOME MADE FACE PAINT | ||
| MATERIALS: | FOR EACH COLOR: 1 tsp. Corn starch, 1/2 tsp. water, 1/2 tsp. cold cream, food coloring, small paintbrush, throw away plastic container (leftover margarine or yogurt container, etc. You will need cover if you would like to save unused portion of paint.) | |
| INSTRUCTIONS: | In container, mix corn starch and cold cream until well blended. Stir in water. Stir in food coloring one drop at a time until desired shade is reached. Paint on faces with small paintbrush. Removes with soap and water. | |
| GHOSTLY TREATS | ||
| MATERIALS: | tootsie roll lollipops, coffee filters, ribbon, string or yarn (any of those will work well) | |
| INSTRUCTIONS: | Place coffee filter over tootsie roll lollipop and tie with string, ribbon or yarn at base of lollipop. Draw 2 eyes and a mouth on it with a black marker . Instant ghostly treats! Submitted by Seven. | |
| SPIDERS | ||
| MATERIALS: | large sized round buttons (with 4 holes in it), purple or black pipe cleaners, googly eyes, purple or black pompoms (same size of the buttons) | |
| INSTRUCTIONS: | Feed each pipe cleaner through one hole (1 pipe cleaner makes 2 legs so you will need 4 pipe cleaners per spider) Glue pompom on top of button once all 8 legs (4 pipe cleaners) are fed through the holes. Glue on googly eyes (2 per spider..or more if you like). Submitted by Seven. | |
