M&M cookies

1/2 C shortening
1 egg
1/2 C brown sugar
1 C + 2T flour
1/4 C sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp water
3/4 C M&M's

Blend shortening and sugars.
Beat in vanilla, water, & egg.
Sift flour, soda, and salt together and add M&M's.
Mix well.
Drop by tsp. to ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375º for 10-12 min.

I think this makes about 3dozen cookies. I usually double the recipe.
