Mint Brownies
Cake Layer:
- 1 Cup sugar
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 1/2 Cup butter(soft)
- 1 16oz can hershey syrup
- 1 Cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 eggs
Mix together, beat at med. speed for 3 min.
Put in greased 9x13 pan.
Bake @ 350* for 30 min.
The top should appear to be wet - Don't over cook
Cool this layer.
Mint Layer:
- 2 Cup Powdered sugar
- 1/2 Cup butter(soft)
- 1 Tbsp water
- 1/8 tsp mint oil or 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
- 2-3 drops green food color
Mix together & beat until creamy.
Spread over cooled cake.
Refrigerate until set.
Icing Layer:
- 6 oz chocolate chips
- 6 Tbsp butter
Melt together.
Let cool approx 30 min. or until luke warm.
Spread over mint layer.
Refrigerate in air tight container.
Cut when very cold.
Keep in refrigerator.
