Kathy's Pot Roast
- 1 pot roast -- I use top round
- 1 envelope taco seasoning
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- 1/2 dry red wine
- 3-4 garlic buds
- olive oil
- can of stewed tomatoes
Brown meat in olive oil and saute veggies at the same time. Pour wine over and simmer for a few minutes. Transfer all to crock pot and sprinkle taco seasoning over the meat and veggies and pour stewed tomatoes and tomato sauce over the whole thing. Simmer all day. Good over noodles, rice or folded in taco shells.
