Linguini and Clam Sauce
- 3 cans minced clams
- 2 jars clam juice
- garlic minced
- vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp each of: parsley, basil, oregano, red pepper
- salt
- pepper
- 2 lb linguini
Start pot of water to boil for linguini, add a drip of oil and salt to the water
In frying pan cover bottom of pan with oil and saute garlic. I usually use a whole clove.
When garlic golden color add clam juice, clams, spices, salt and pepper to taste bring to simmer and lower heat.
cook linguini. When linguini done combine and serve.
This is a spicy meal. If you have small children, you might want to add the red pepper at the table instead of to the pot.
