LilSis's English Toffee
- 1 lb. butter - melt carefully (don't use margarine)
- 1 lb. brown sugar - add to butter and stir
- chopped walnuts, crushed
- 10 Hershey chocolate bars
cook to soft crack stage (275*) over med. heat, stirring often
Butter a 9x13 pan, line bottom with nuts. Pour caramel mix over nuts in pan.
Put Hershey bars on top while hot, smooth chocolate as it melts.
Sprinkle crushed nuts on top. Cool and cut or break into pieces.
