Sponge Toffee
- 3/4 cup of corn syrup
- 3/4 cup of white sugar
- 4 tsps. of baking soda
Cook the sugar and corn syrup over high heat until a drop in cold water
looks like fine thread and snaps when touched. Then stir in the baking soda.
Pour into a buttered dish and let cool.
