Dry Jerk Seasoning
- 1 tablespoon onion flakes
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 2 teaspoon ground thyme
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon coursly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 teaspoons dried chives or green onions
Mix together all the ingredients, store leftovers in a tightly closed jar, It will keep its pungency for over a month.
This seasoning is excellent to have on hand to sprinkle on fish, veggies or snacks it doesnt have as strong of flavor as jerk rub or marinade to add heat add more cayenne
