the bingo hall. Maybe she could win back some of the earnings..what, you thought she was gonna return the stuff?? Oh, yeah...tis the season and all that. So, she put 50 bucks under her bed, and took off to return the gifts she had bought. On her way back from the stores, she was feeling so dejected, when the tiniest angel appeared to her, sitting daintily on her rearview mirror. "Thelma", the angel said "I am so proud of you, you did the right thing, you deserve a generous reward. Go home and check the money under your mattress!". Thelma drove home at almost the speed of light, generating some stern looks from the rather scared tiny angel, who told Thelma if there was some kind of accident, the angel was OUTTATHERE, she wasn't a guardian angel, and didn't want any of them to think she was edging in on their territory and trying to garner a promotion from the Big Boss. So..Thelma, obeying all traffic rules, went home and pushed her hand under the mattress (thinking at the same time, that junior must have wet the bed again when he crawled in with her and her husband the night before).... |
