Turkey, Gravies and Sauces


RAISIN SAUCE FOR BAKED HAM

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 or 2 Tbls. Cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper
  • 1 Tbls. Powdered mustard
  • Pinch of: mace, nutmeg and cinnamon
  • 1 cup seedless raisins
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves

Mix dry ingredients, add raisins, vinegar and water. Cook to a syrup. P our over sliced ham. Place in 300 degree oven for about 10 minutes and serve.
