: A pudding cake with caramel sauce hidden underneath
: 3/4 c flour
: 1/2 c sugar
: 1 tsp baking powder
: 1 tsp cinnamon or apple pie spice
: 1/4 tsp salt
: 1/2 c milk
: 1 1/2 c coarsely chopped apples
: 1/2 c chopped nuts
: Sauce:
: 3/4 c brown sugar
: 1/4 c butter
: 3/4 c boiling water

: Combine, stir until butter melts.
: Grease bottom of 8" square pan.
: Combine all ingredients. Spread in prepared pan. Prepare sauce. Pour sauce over batter.
