: 5 medium turnips, peeled and
: sliced very thin
: 1 c. brown sugar
: 1 stick oleo
: 1 prepared pie shell
: 1/2 c. flour
: 1 tsp. cinnamon
: 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
: Into an unbaked pie shell, place the thinly sliced
: turnips. Mix the sugar, flour and spices together, cutting in
: the oleo until coarse and crumbly. Spread evenly over the top
: of the turnips. Bake in 350 degrees oven for 45 minutes. Tastes like
: apple pie!!
